On April 19 eleven members of Houston Brick Club provided a display of MOCs at a local children’s hospital. Models were set up on a pedestrian bridge where patients, families, and staff could look at them as they walked by. Many patients came down from their rooms just to see the displays; we heard that staff members scheduled “walking meetings” to come here also.
Houston Brick Club does a similar display at this hospital about twice a year; it is the most rewarding activity many of us do. We are thrilled to add a little joy in the lives of these patients and families.
A few photos are below; more are in a Facebook album here. All models and photos are by members of Houston Brick Club.
