Downtown Houston … in LEGO® bricks!

Houston Brick Club is busy constructing a model of downtown Houston using LEGO® bricks!  Each individual building and lot is being designed and constructed, from the smallest park to the tallest skyscraper.  Also included are landmarks such as George R. Brown Convention Center, Minute Maid Park, and Jones Hall.

Planning for this project started in summer of 2019.  The first buildings were constructed  in early January 2020.  Work is continuing, block by block, just like the real-life construction in downtown Houston!

Donations to this project are welcome, and sponsorships are available.  Sponsors at a certain level will have a building custom designed and built for them on the model!  More information can be found on this GoFundMe page.

Expected completion of this project is summer of 2020.  Come see it at our Brick Fiesta public exhibition, July 23-26 at the Houston Marriott Sugar Land.
